4-C community Coordinated Child Care
In the summer of 2022, I had an incredible opportunity to intern with 4-C Community coordinated child care. My internship included being a graphic designer, photographer and social media manager for a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality childcare services to underserved communities revolving around nature. This allowed me to apply my creative skills in a real world setting, continue to work on impactful projects and gain insight into the intersectionality between design and social impact for children.

Design Projects
During my internship I was tasked with a variety of design projects aimed at increasing visibility for the nonprofit. My primary responsibilities included updating organizations' logos for both 4C and its partner company Kentucky shared services. I used a cohesive color palette and typography guidelines to ensure consistency above all materials.
Early Childhood Flyer Redesign
I redesigned a training flyer for the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council (JCCECC) to enhance its visual appeal and readability. The flyer aimed to promote a series of virtual training sessions for early childhood educators, offering essential professional development opportunities.

Parks and play day
The primary goal of creating the poster called "Parks and Play Day" was to craft and capture the vibrant energy of 4-C. The design featured playful typography and bright cheerful color palette while achieving brand standards. The key assets of the piece included an illustration of a muddy little girl and playful elements such as bubbles. The layout is playful yet clean and organized to ensure that essential information such as date and time are easily legible. This approach not only attracted their target audience but communicated the event purpose effectively. It invited families and providers to participate enjoy this outdoor experience.
